Filipina Belgian-based Producer & DJ UNOS presents the second installment of ‘TROPICAL DISKORAL’ compilation, a project featuring electronic artists based in the Philippines.

The project investigates the sound of electronic music coming from the Philippines and its wide diaspora, gathering electronic artists who are showcasing new sounds from the archipelago to the rest of the world.

Initiated by UNOS, Obese.Dogma777 fka Similarobjects, and Tropical Futures, the core aim of TROPICAL DISKORAL is to celebrate and encourage Philippine artists to create music on their own terms. This edition’s featured artists are gender-bending musicians BABYBLUE, introspective and explorative music producer LM900 and dance music producer Jp Hill.

On this edition of the project, UNOS said:
“The unpredictability of the current time made this edition presented later than what we anticipated, but it still matters to release this volume as that of 2021, not 2022.

The two years in the pandemic have been a nightmare for the music scene globally. The pre-scheduled shows have been postponed endlessly. Many artists weren't able to have any live performances at all. But finally, restrictions are loosening up and events are starting to take place. I could feel there is more sense of optimism and warmth coming through and that is also represented in the music that the artists of this edition present."
